So, Kelowna has been having some bizzare weather this last while. The last two days have been thankfully cooler. Yesterday was a painful sickness day. Today, GLORIOUSLY blissful. Here’s to hoping that week 11 will be the end of morning sickness.
On a more sombre note, I found a lame bird (about the size of a Robin) in m garden this morning. It didn’t look like time would heal it, and I couldn’t bear to see the neighbour cat get to it, so I had Jason give it a swift departure from our world. It was a very emotional event for me; darn pregnancy hormones making me tear up.
Joshua is enjoying the freedom to be outside, helping me pull plants (weeds or whatever he gets his hands on) around the yard. We met up with friends at the beach today. It took quite a while for Joshua to get comfortable with the waves. Eventually he was splashing away and accidently submerging himself a couple times. No tears though, just a few sputters.
